DETROIT (WXYZ) - WXYZ-TV brought home 11 Emmy Awards at Saturday night's annual ceremony, easily outdistancing every other television station in Michigan. WXYZ was also awarded the coveted "Station Excellence" awarded, which was accepted by Divisional Vice-President and General Manager, Ed Fernandez.
Every division of the station--news, investigative, Detroit 2020, creative services, sales and programming--walked off with awards.
