(WXYZ) - A man was killed Friday night when his motorcycle hit a pick-up truck on I-696 in Madison Heights, according to police.
Michigan State Police say witnesses saw two motorcycles traveling in excess of 100 mph, weaving in and out of traffic when the accident happened.
The driver of the second motorcycle kept going on the freeway after the accident, according to police.
Police say the victim was a 31-year-old man from Hamtramck.
It does not appear alcohol played a role in the crash.
