WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ/AP) - A man is facing 15 years in prison after being charged with two felonies in connection with a hit and run accident that resulted in the death of a bicyclist.
Kittisak Clayphotong has been charged with Operating while intoxicated causing death and Failure to stop at scene of accident resulting in death.
Warren police say in a statement that the fatal crash happened about 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Police say officers found 51-year-old Andrew Macielak of Warren injured. Macielak died at the scene.
The statement says officers checked the area and found the vehicle and driver suspected of hitting Macielak.
