WXYZ-TV - Listeria is the reason being cited for a massive egg recall going on right now across 34 states, including Michigan.
The eggs, produced by Michael Foods, based in Minnesota, is recalling more than a million hard cooked eggs.
These eggs come from the Wakefield, Nebraska, plant site.
Testing has shown that these eggs may have been contaminated when a packing room at the company was undergoing repair.
The company is taking action to correct the situation and working toward avoiding any future incidents.
The lot codes begin with a "1" and end with a "W."
Symptoms of Listeria include, headache, diarrhea, loss of balance, convulsions and other reactions.
