ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) - A memorial service has been scheduled for the 80-year-old woman murdered inside of her home.

It will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 11 at the Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester.

According to the Royal Oak Police, Nancy Dailey was discovered shortly after 8:00 p.m. Sunday night by a relative who went to her home to check on her.

Dailey suffered from Alzheimer’s, and was seen outside waving to neighbors only hours before her death.

Investigators believe she died sometime between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Sunday.

Dailey was found with her throat cut and her hands bound behind her back. Police say robbery was a motive.
