Metro Detroit restaurants offer free Thanksgiving meals on Wednesday

(WXYZ) - Metro Detroiters have their pick of places to go for a free Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday.

Royal Grill Restaurant located at 9 Mile and Coolidge in Oak Park is serving free turkey and ham dinners from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The free meals are open to everyone. Also, anyone who would like to make a donation to Oak Park Youth Assistance, can do so while they are there.

Those who find Dearborn or Taylor to be more convenient might want to head over to Leon's Family Dining Restaurant.

Free dinners will be available for everyone at the location at 23830 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn and at the restaurant at 8787 Telegraph Road in Taylor.

The meals will be available from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Last, but not least, Romulus House Restaurant will offer a free Thanksgiving dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

It is located at 9110 Wayne Road. People, who would like to make a donation to Romulus Goodfellows while they are there, will have the opportunity to do so.
