(WXYZ) - Michigan Police are boosting patrols to stop drunk drivers the week before Halloween.

The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning says more than 60 agencies across 15 counties will increase patrols through October 31.

Police reported arresting more than 200 drunk drivers last year, the weekend before Halloween.

These patrols are aided by federal traffic safety funds.
