EAST LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) - For the second straight Tuesday, the Breslin Center in East Lansing will be the site of one of college basketball's most anticipated games of the season.
Tom Izzo's fourth-ranked Spartans are looking to take over sole possession of first place in the Big Ten with a win over No. 1 ranked Indiana Tuesday night.
Both teams are 11-2 in conference play. And the game is the first time ever a pair of top-five teams will play on Michigan State's home court.
The guy who leads the nation's top ranked team is no stranger to playing in East Lansing. Indiana head coach Tom Crean was an assistant with the Spartans in the 90s under Izzo.
It will mark the second matchup between the teams this season. Last month in Bloomington, Ind., the Hoosiers were able to hold off Michigan State with a 75-70 win.
Tip-off for tonight's game at the Breslin Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
