Michigan State Housing Development Authority will spend up to $30,000 each to help homeowners

(WXYZ) - Having trouble paying your property taxes? The State of Michigan wants to help.

Starting next week the Michigan State Housing Development Authority will spend up to $30,000 each to pay a homeowners delinquent taxes, interest, fees and condo association dues.

The state is spending its $200 million share of a half billion dollars in federal mortgage foreclosure prevention money.
