DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police say someone in a vehicle fired a shot at a Michigan State Police trooper near Chapel and Verne in Detroit on Thursday night.
The trooper was attempting to pull over the Chrysler 300 with three people inside when the driver suddenly sped away and someone inside fired at the trooper's car, hitting the windshield, according to police.
Police say the trooper was not injured.
Detroit Police caught up with the vehicle and arrested two suspects after a short foot chase, a man and woman in their 20s. Police believe there is a third male suspect on the loose.
There were two guns, both AK-47s, found in the car, according to police.
