(WXYZ) - The mother of two-year-old James Nelson who was found dead in a hot van earlier this month is set to be arraigned Tuesday.
Police sources say they believe Audrionna Rhoades strapped her son in his car seat and left him in the van all day while she went to work.
Audrionna Rhoades originally told police that she nor her roommate remembered putting him in the van.
An autopsy determined that the child died of hyperthermia. Officials believe he was in the van for 10 to 11 hours.
The child was found unresponsive in a vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Marmoor in Dequindre Estates Trailer Park off of Dequindre.
