(WXYZ) - Murder charges could be filed on Wednesday against a man being held in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Sabrina Gianino in Grosse Pointe Park.
Police met with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday.
Sources say the 42-year-old man lives next door to where the woman was found strangled last week in her boyfriend's house.
The boyfriend found her and called 911. He was later cleared by police.
Her missing cell phone eventually led police to the suspect.
Other persons of interested have also been questioned by police.
Tuesday evening, friends gathered at Marge's Bar on Mack to donate money to Gianino's family to help pay for funeral expenses.
Arrangements are pending.
Gianino worked at Platz Animal Hospital also on Mack in Grosse Pointe Park. People can still make donations there.
