(WXYZ) - WPMI-TV, the NBC affiliate in Mobile, Alabama, is reporting that the Carnival Cruise Ship Triumph has broken free from the dock.
WKRG-TV, the CBS affiliate, is reporting that the ship has drifted across the river from the port and has suffered some damage to the outside.
The station also says two people were blown into the water when a nearby guard shack was sent flying.
One of them has been recovered. The search is on for the second.
Both stations say high winds were recorded in the area at the time of the accident.
The Triumph has been at Mobile since February following an incident where a fire in the engine room crippled the ship in the Gulf of Mexico. The ship needed to be towed back into port.
