(WXYZ) - A number of Detroiters have been taken to the hospital following a bus accident in Washington, DC.
WJLA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Washington says as many as 8 people were taken to the hospital following an accident on Connecticut Avenue.
Their injuries are not considered to be serious.
The buses involved in the accident are charters from Detroit.
They brought the Detroiters to the nation's capitol for celebrations surrounding the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King's historic 'I Have a Dream' Speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.
