(WXYZ) - George Zimmerman, the man charged with killing Florida teen Trayvon Martin was released from jail overnight on $150,000 bail.
It's not known where Zimmerman will be staying while free on bond, but on Friday a judge said Zimmerman could not have any contact with the victim's family, not allowed to possess any firearms, alcohol or controlled substances and he will be monitored by tether.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the connection with the February 26th shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
He has claimed self-defense under Florida’s “stand your ground” law.
