(WXYZ) - Your next flight could be a little less stressful.
That’s because low-hassle screening is expanding to 28 more airports by the end of the month.
The test program screens travelers based on their risk. Approved passengers would not have to take off their shoes and belts during the check-in process.
Right now, this easier screening is already in effect at Metro Airport.
The move comes after the TSA received complaints about young children and elderly passengers being subjected to the more strict screening process.
