(WXYZ) - Gunnery Sergeant Daniel Price was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan.
The 27-year-old was one of two Marines killed Sunday, July 29.
Sergeant Price received a Bronze Star with combat V, Purple Heart, three Combat Action Ribbons and three Good Conduct Medals during his ten years in the Marines.
He served six tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Price was assigned to the First Marine Special Operations Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California.
