(WXYZ) - This race is far from over.
Tuesday night proved to be huge for GOP hopeful Rick Santorum.
The Republican candidate marked down a win for Minnesota, Colorado, and Missouri.
The triumph in the non-binding Missouri primary isn’t worth any delegates, but it’s still a virtual “W” on the board, proving there is still hope for the Santorum camp.
The numbers are still coming in, but Santorum led Minnesota by a commanding lead with Texas congressman Ron Paul coming in second, and Mitt Romney in third.
It was a tighter race in Colorado, but the GOP chairman announced just after 1 a.m. Wednesday that Santorum did in fact take the state.
