WASHINGTON, D.C. (WXYZ) - Investigators are uncovering questionable behavior by some TSA screeners at the airport.
A new government report found nearly 10,000 cases of TSA misconduct since 2010.
These cases include agents sleeping on the job, stealing from passengers, and bypassing certain bags through security check points.
The report highlights another big problem, revealing there were more than 3,000 instances where screeners showed up either late, not at all, or left the job without permission.
The behavior is a serious concern, and a danger. Officials are now working to correct the issues.
