(WXYZ) - Whether you're looking for a microbrewery around town or just want to share a good review, the Mi*BREW app may be essential to your app arsenal.
The Mi*BREW app is powered by BREWbyME and has a complete database of Michigan microbreweries.
You can search the microbreweries by distance or by name, you can also check off the breweries you've been to or the beers you've tried.
What's also neat about this app is that you'll find reviews, full beer menus, brewery hours and directions.
One of the app creators Joe Bamberger tells 7 Action News that the people who worked with him on the development are huge supporters of Michigan and Michigan-made products.
The Mi*BREW team will actually be showing off their app at the upcoming 2nd Annual Wild West Summer Beer Fest at the Royal Oak Farmer's Market on Saturday, June 22.
The event will have beers from around the world, across the country and, of course, from Michigan.
The event will also have beer-inspired cuisine and live music.
Tickets are $40 and the beer fest proceeds will benefit Camp Casey , a local horseback riding program for kids with cancer.
The non-profit holds camp outs, horse house calls, and fun cost-free excursions for children with cancer and their families across Michigan.
