(WXYZ) - A new development could change the face of Royal Oak’s Main Street.
The planning commission is considering a plan for the vacant auto dealership near University Avenue.
The development would include an 8-story hotel with 114 rooms, a five-story mixed use building with a first floor restaurant and four floors of office space.
Plans also include an 8-story apartment building with 82 units and a four story parking garage.
Kroger wanted to open up shop on the property back in 2011, but residents rallied against it.
