(WXYZ) - A new website is helping millions of people get career advice, take a behind-the-scenes look at numerous companies and apply for jobs--all in one spot.
TheMuse.com is beautifully designed and easy to navigate, helping to make the job search, dare i say it, kind of fun.
When you're exploring companies on The Muse, you get a magazine-like spread of the company along with employee video interviews. The layout helps an applicant gage whether they could see themselves at that particular company.
If you already have a job, but are wondering how to advance in your current career or navigate a tricky conversation about asking for a raise, the site also has tips to help.
The Muse is also rolling out free online career classes. All you have to do is sign up and the classes are sent right to your inbox.
There are no Michigan job or company listings just yet, but The Muse CEO and Founder Kathryn Minshew tells 7 Action News that they are planning to expand to Michigan companies later this fall.
Minshew says about several thousand Michigan professionals are already using the site for career advice and the other job tools.
