ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Oakland County Prosecutors Office has authorized a warrant for Domini Juan Harris, one of three people suspected of being involved in an identity theft ring.
He was arraigned on charges of possessing personal identifying information with intent to commit identity theft, as well as alternate counts of stealing and retaining credit cards and checks without financial consent.
Harris was given a $150,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 9 for a pre-exam conference.
Officials say they caught Harris in a suspicious vehicle with two other people.
Officers say the driver did not have any identification and the passengers also showed false identification.
Investigators say they searched the vehicle and discovered that the suspects were running an uttering and publishing operation involving stolen and forged checks and credit cards.
Investigators also arrested a 22-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy; both are residents of Detroit.
