Only a few USPS offices remain open late this tax day

(WXYZ) - Today is the last day to send in your tax returns. If you’re submitting them by mail be sure to check the closing time of your local USPS office, as only a handful are staying open late.
In years past, local post offices like Southfield and Royal Oak have stayed open past 7:00 p.m. on tax day but this year only two will remain open late.
Below is a short list of metro Detroit USPS offices open past until 10:00 pm.
- Detroit: 1404 W Fort Street; Rm 1006; 10:00 p.m.
- Redford: 12245 Beech Daly Rd; 9:00 p.m.
