(WXYZ) - The Michigan Humane Society introduces iPet Companion, allowing you to play with cats online.
It is a free-roaming cat room at the MHS Berman Center for Animal Care in Westland.

iPet Companion allows anyone with an Internet connection to play with adoptable cats online.

Here's how it works.

One online visitor at a time gets control over three enticing cat toys mounted in the cat room. They can also “look” around the room thanks to a high definition webcam.

After two minutes, the next person in the queue is given access to the controls.

In addition to providing more exposure for cats and kittens seeking loving homes, it provides them with hours of safe, healthy and fun activity each day.

To play with adoptable cats visit www.michiganhumane.org/play and click on the “Let’s Play” icon.

Online play hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week.

If you happen to catch the feline friends during a catnap, please try back later.
