(WXYZ) - Players and coaches gathered to remember basketball coach Al Anderson.

The Detroit Consortium Prep coach died of a heart attack Saturday night after the team's biggest win of the season.

The team played with a heavy heart on Tuesday night--and they left an open seat on the bench where the coach would sit.

Principal Atkins says when it came to deciding whether the season would continue--the decision was unanimous. The team will carry on, just as Coach Anderson would have wanted.
