Police warn of break-ins in Farmington Hills

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Farmington Hills Police Department is warning residents at Independence Green and Muirwood Apartments after several reports of break-ins.
The invasions happened between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at each complex; suspects apparently broke-in by prying the sliding glass doors on the units, according to police.
Police recommend securing all doors and windows and staying alert for any suspicious activity.
