(WXYZ) - Republican candidate John Hauler is running to be the next Congressman for constituents in Michigan's 14th U.S. Congressional District.
Hauler was raised on Detroit's east side. Once a worker at his father's tool and dye business, he is now director of new business development at Ace Electronics.
He says his top priority - if elected to Congress - would be manufacturing jobs. Hauler says his opponent does not understand the manufacturing industry.
The candidate says he's opened four U.S. manufacturing plants.
He says, "I'm dedicated to making southeast Michigan the Motor City capital again."
