(WXYZ) - Congressman Sander Levin has represented Michigan in the United State House of Representatives since 1982.
However, he is facing a new challenge as the 2012 election finds him running in the 9th Congressional District, instead of the 12th Congressional District.
During his time in Congress Levin has worked on Social Security, as well as business and tax reform. He also worked on health care legislation and energy and environmental bills.
Levin also served in the Michigan State Senate, where he served as minority leader from 1969-1970.
