(WXYZ) - Don't forget! Today is your final chance to register if you want to vote in the August 6 primary election.
That's when 56 counties across the state will hold races, including the primary for Detroit's mayoral race.
You have to be at least 18 years old by Election Day in order to vote and you must be a U.S. citizen.
You can register to vote in person at any Secretary of State branch or with your local clerk's office.
