(WXYZ) - Our 7 Action News exit polling is trending and we are now projecting Brian Zahra will retain his seat on the Michigan Supreme Court.
Zahra was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to fill out an interim term on the bench after Justice Elizabeth Weaver resigned from the court.
Zahra is a Republican. There are two additional Supreme Court seats that were put before voters, but those are too close to call at this time.
