LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) - Right to Work protesters gathered outside the Romney Building in Lansing Tuesday in opposition to Right to Work legislation.
They were carrying out a protest outside Governor Rick Snyder's office. Protesters blocked both the front and back entrances.
There was loud chanting from protesters and several incidents of pushing and shoving.
Michigan State Police report having to use pepper spray on a crowd who grabbed a hold of a state trooper and would not release.
Two people were arrested for trying to breach the doors of the Romney building.
Some UAW members brought sleeping bags and say they were prepared to sleep there.
