Embattled Wayne County Executive Bob Ficano “should stay and fight” if he has not done anything wrong but should resign if he can be directly linked to any criminal wrongdoing in the county he oversees. That’s the opinion of longtime Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. However, Patterson says he has not yet seen any information that would lead him to believe Ficano has personally broken any laws. But he says, there has been a lot of :”poor judgment” and “bad management” coming out of the Ficano administration.
Patterson’s comments were made on Channel 7’s “Spotlight on the News” program which airs every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. He appeared on this week’s show with Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostack and Michigan Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Rich Studley. The Michigan GOP are getting ready for a national Republican Prsidetntial debate that will take place in Oakland County on Wednesday.
