WXYZ Detroit - Spotlight on the 14th Congressional District race and the Grand Hotel's 125th Anniversary. On Sunday, July 8, Spotlight on the News will sit down for an in-depth, one-on-one, interview with Southfield Mayor Brenda Lawrence. She is one of a crowded field of Democrats running in the newly redrawn 14th District political contest.
I will also travel to beautiful Mackinac Island, Michigan to interview Grand Hotel President R.D. (Dan) Musser III. He'll tell us how he is preparing to celebrate his hotel's upcoming 125th anniversary.
Now in it's 47th season, Spotlight on the News is Michigan's longest running weekly news and public affairs program.
