WXYZ Detroit - On Sunday, February 10, Spotlight on the News will feature the Alkebu-Lan Village organization and the National Association of Black Suppliers Scholarship Fund.

After 35 years in the trenches, why is Alkebu-Lan Village so successful in helping eastside Detroit neighborhoods?  And as Black suppliers get ready to celebrate their silver anniversary, we'll look at how much their scholarship fund has helped needy students.

Guests will include:  Marvis Cofield and Bishop Cheryl Myhand of Alkebu-Lan Village, David Carroll of Quicken Loans, Rhonda Glover and Cassie Stafford of the NABS Scholarship Fund, and Jeanette Abraham of JMA Logistics.

Now in its 48th season, Spotlight on the News is Michigan's longest running weekly news and public affairs program.
