Spotlight: The Making of Fela! and Detroit Leaders Unite

WXYZ - On Sunday, February 12, Spotlight will report on the making and importance of the Tony Award-winning musical Fela! which is coming to Detroit’s Music Hall next week. Who was the legendary Nigerian singer Fela Kuti and how did he influence political resistance and hip hop music around the world? We will also do a segment on a new partnership between the Associated Food & Petroleum Dealers and many members of the Detroit clergy community.
