But first, these Republicans and Democrats will have to square off among themselves in the August primary before two of them can advance to the next political contest. On Sunday, July 4th, meet one of the seven candidates competing for the job. Republican State Senator Tom George of Kalamazoo is a practicing physician who spells out his plan for making Michigan healthy again.
