TV First: Chuck Stokes interviews the Governor inside Mackinac Mansion

Governor Jennifer Granholm has been in office for more than 7 years but for the first time ever she has agreed to a TV interview inside her Mackinac Island Mansion.

The “exclusive” one-on-one was granted to Channel 7’s Chuck Stokes during the recent Mackinac Policy Conference. In a special edition of Spotlight on the News, Granholm talks about a wide range of topics confronting her administration.

She passionately defends her job performance, gives her take on the state budget negotiations, and tells Stokes what she believes is the best part of her job.
