"Pure Michigan" now has a Facebook App, features photos

WXYZ-TV - The Pure Michigan campaign can't make it any easier.
Now, there is a Facebook app you can use to see some of those fabulous pictures to help you decide where to spend your next vacation.
On top of that, you can read some of the comments and reviews that others are making.
Vice President of Travel Michigan George Zimmerman says, "As people share these photos on their own Facebook or Twitter accounts they are helping to spread the word to their friends and followers about why Michigan is America’s perfect summer destination.”
This will help to make what has been already decided as one of the best Facebook pages of its kind even better. In fact, PR Daily Awards named Pure Michigan FB page for the Mitten Wars as a finalist for 2012.
You'll be able to share a link to the app not only through Facebook, but through Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest as well.
Zimmerman adds, "Social media is a terrific medium for Pure Michigan to be able to engage with our fans on a very personal level," and he goes on to say, "This app is another way for us to involve our fans with the campaign.”
