Raleigh Studios to host Actorfest Detroit Saturday, featuring casting calls and workshops

PONTIAC, Mich. - Are you ready for the role of a lifetime?

Meet Hollywood casting directors, local filmmakers, actors and agents at 'Actorfest Detroit.'

Actorfestwill take place on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. at Raleigh Studios on 1999 Centerpoint Parkway, in Pontiac.

The event will feature auditions for leading roles for the film "The Unbroken," as well as a variety of other upcoming projects and a major new feature film being shot in Detroit at the Raleigh Studios.

Along with Kim Williams, the acclaimed casting director made famous for her castings of TYLER PERRY'S projects, will be teaching a workshop on "On How to Make it in Hollywood." And there will be several other informative classes, workshops, and opportunities to meet top casting directors and network with entertainment industry professionals.

Admission

Everyone must register to get into Actorfest.

Basic admission to Actorfest is free. With basic admission you can attend the Exhibit Hall, audition at one of the open casting calls, and socialize in the Networking Cafe.

However, to attend the Workshops you must purchase one of the available package deals. Seating for workshops is on a first-come, first -served basis. .
