(WXYZ) - Accused shooter Raulie Casteel will stand trial against the state for a string of shootings along I-96 last fall.

The case is moving forward after the 43-year-old waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Charges against Casteel include Terrorism and Assault with Intent to Murder. He also faces trial on dozen of Oakland County shooting charges.

Casteel's attorney says he suffers from a mental disorder. He's been found competent to stand trial but the results have yet to come in on a criminal responsibility exam.
