DETROIT - An 11-year-old boy is recovering after being shot while inside a home Tuesday night.
At least two bullets pierced into the house in the 9900 block of Prest on Detroit’s west side. The boy was struck as well as a 26-year-old man, who was outside.
It is believed the gunman came from between two houses and fired a gun from across the street.
Some neighbors did not see what happened but told 7 Action News they heard several shots.
Some were outraged an innocent child was harmed in this senseless shooting. Both the boy and the adult who were shot were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Since then, the boy has been listed in fair condition.
