(WXYZ) - Detroit Police tell 7 Action News it's been a dangerous night on the city's southwest side.
Officers were busy all through the night responding to calls about fights and shootings all near the area precinct.
But possibly, one of the most tragic calls of the night-- a 15-year-old shot and killed after some type of dispute ended in gunfire.
Police say it happened sometime between 2 and 5 a.m. at a home on the corner of Toledo and Lansing.
The teen was shot in the side and died. Another young person was hit by gunfire and was taken to the hospital. He's expected to survive.
DPD says there were a number of witnesses in the area. They're busy asking questions in hope of tracking down some answers.
