DETROIT (WXYZ) - The 36th District Court is closed today due to broken air conditioning.
The inoperable air conditioning unit has caused "excessive heat," according to the court administrator and has caused the court to close to the public at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 25.
All afternoon traffic and felony arraignment hearings have been cancelled.
Felony arraignments will resume on Saturday May 26. The court will reopen to the public on Tuesday, May 29.
