DETROIT (AP) - Strategy sessions on the future of Detroit neighborhoods are scheduled at various locations across the city this week.

A Community Conversation hosted by the Detroit Works Project will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the city's Northwest Activities Center.

Other sessions are scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday.

More than 600 city residents have attended similar programs since late April. The sessions focus on how to make city neighborhoods more viable, how to keep current residents and attract new ones and how to re-energize the city's economy.

The strategies will be considered as part of Detroit's long-term plans. Public policy recommendations may be incorporated into governing documents like the Master Plan of Policies for the City or zoning ordinances.
