DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Public Schools have confirm the possible bones found on an elementary school playground is a tree root.
The Medical Examiner was called to the scene at Bagley Elementary School after a student discovered what may be human remains on the playground.
Police responded to the scene and determined the discovery was nothing more than a tree root.
A Detroit Public Schools representative Jennifer Mrozowski told Action News "We've been informed that this was nothing more than a tree limb."
