DETROIT, Mich. (WXYZ) - Beginning tonight, a 6:00 p.m. curfew will take effect for all minors under the age of 18.
The curfew will be enforced for three days, ending at 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
This comes as thousands of volunteers are set to hit the streets of Detroit, ready to ward off any troublemakers.
There will also be a ban on portable gas containers, to keep people from filling them up with gasoline.
Police say previous Angels' Night campaigns helped to prevent arson and other trouble in the past, and that the volunteers are a great addition to officers out on the streets.
