DETROIT(WXYZ) - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro-Detroit is hosting its annual signature event to raise funds and awareness for the organization.

The Big Event: Big Easy style will take place on Friday, October 12. The event will feature a host of celebrity bartenders including our own Diana Lewis, Detroit's first lady Yvette Bing and many more.

The event has a Louisiana theme, complete with a strolling buffet and live entertainment from Detroit's own HotSauce and the KDJ Jazz Trio.

The Big Event: Big Easy will happen at The Reserve, 325 South Eaton Street in Birmingham. It starts at 8pm and runs until midnight.

Tickets start at $100 for an individual and $175 per couple. VIP tickets are $50 more.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported network. BBBS is dedicated to making meaningful and enduring relationships between adult volunteers and children between the ages of 7 and 18.
