WXYZ - A boating accident on Lake St. Clair has injured two people and their dog is dead.
The accident occurred Saturday at 10:42 p.m. about two miles east of Beacon's Cove Marina in Harrison Township. Both the the Macomb County Sheriff's Marine Division and the U.S. Coast Guard responded to the "Mayday."
The Macomb County Sheriff's office says that 34-year-old Kevin Scott Bushon of Shelby Township had three passengers aboard his boat when he ran over another boat that was anchored.
Aboard that anchored boat was a 47-year-old Roseville man and his 47-year-old wife along with their dog. Both people received injuries and their dog was killed.
No one aboard the boat operated by Bushon was injured.
The sheriff's department took Kevin Bushon into custody and he has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury. He is being held on a $5000 cash/surety bond.
