(WXYZ) - A pretrial hearing was held for Bob Bashara Wednesday morning at Wayne County Circuit Court.
Bashara appeared via video conference from the Oaks Correctional Facility where he is a prisoner.
The procedural hearing was held as part of a woman's request to have her computer returned. The computer was seized by police as evidence during the homicide investigation of Bashara's wife Jane.
Bashara was arraigned in early May on first degree murder, solicitation to commit murder, witness intimidation and obstruction of justice charges regarding the death of his wife Jane. A not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.
Jane's body was found in January of 2012 in the back of her Mercedes-Benz parked in a Detroit alley.
Bob Bashara is currently serving a 6 to 20 year sentence after pleading guilty for attempting to have his handyman Joseph Gentz killed while he was in the Wayne County jail.
In December of 2012 Gentz pleaded guilty to strangling Jane Bashara. He said Bob Bashara threatened to kill him if he didn't murder Jane.
